Cape Town cont
I was really surprised at how cosmopolitan Cape Town is and I wish I had more time to spend there. There is a nice area called the Waterfront that has all sorts of trendy shops and restaurants as well as the requisite African shops. I spent an afternoon wandering around and still didn't see it all. I also went to the famous "Sunday Market" where I spent more of my South African Rands on some of the African artwork. My last day in the Cape Town area, I went on a day tour of the winery region. The tour took us to 3 different wineries where we tasted up to 6 wines per winery and we spent some time in the quaint area of Stellenbosh.
Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to Africa. It was an amazing time and I know that I will go back again some day. There is still so much left to see!
Next stop India!
